Thy why of work comes in many forms, and this book attempts to give leaders a template for identifying, promoting, and leveraging multiple tools and perspectives that bring meaning into the work setting. By looking at seven types of experiences that people identify as giving them a sense of abundance and meaning in life and explicitly creating those experiences in the workplace, leaders create a menu of meaning-making options that tap employees’ values and harness their energies to help work teams and organizations make sense, and make cents.
